Heat always refers to the transfer of energy between system and bodies,
not to energy contained within the system.
For example, the iron is hot, so its we reasonable to say it must have a lot of heat in it.
Is it wrong. Because it will cause that energy to transfer to your hand, in the form of heat.

the specific heat capacity of material is numerically equal to the quantity of heat which must be supplied to unit mass of the material to increase its temperature through 1 degree.

Hapusi think heat is propotional with heat capacity, if the heat increase so the temperature is high, and if the heat decrease so the temperature is low.

ok.for example when you drop a table you need energy to drop, and when you finish droping, the energy not lost but move to table.
